Holiday Home / Second Home Insurance Policy Details
If you own a second home or holiday home in the UK then this is the policy for you. Whether you just use the property occasionally yourself, or with family and friends, or you let your property out on a week to week basis then comprehensive cover is provided with this policy.
What Does This Cover?
This policy carries a £100 excess on all claims and £1,000 excess on claims for damage by subsidence, landslip or heave.
Standard risks covered for buildings and contents insurance plus damage to landlord's property as a result of:
- Theft or attempted theft following violent and forcible entry.
- Escape of water from tanks and pipes.
- Storms and floods.
- Impact, collision, aircraft.
- Escape of oil and smoke damage.
- Riot, violent disorder or civil commotion.
- Subsidence, landslip or heave.
- Falling trees, telegraph poles & lamp posts.
- Fire, lightning, explosion or earthquake.
- Falling radio or TV aerials*
